Instead of trying to predict what they’re going to announce, how about I write down what I would want in a new Mac Mini:

• Up to 8GB of RAM (some notebooks can do this already)
• Nvidia chip (sounds like a lock)
• SSD (cost probably doesn’t work out, but an option would be nice)
• eSATA (I guess FW800 would be ok, but I still think eSATA would be better)
• Quad core processor (yea, the heat would probably be an issue, but it would be really cool if they could pull it off)
• A pony.

Anyways, if they can nail all that stuff, then I’m definitely getting one. But they’re probably going to make me spend two grand more on a Mac Pro instead.
