Finally gave in got one. It looks nice. Simple, white.

Config is interesting. I’m still a little iffy about not having a web interface, but I can deal for now. The guest network feature is nice. BUT..

I tend to like to use wireless mac filtering for my home stuff. It’s the least problematic, no weird issues about clients not supporting certain authentication methods, or buggy implementations of those methods. The airport supports this feature but, it can’t turn it on or off based on whether it’s the private or guest network. This means if I turn it on, it applies to the guest network, which is pointless. If i turn it off, anyone can get on my private network, which is also dumb.

Sigh. I just have to revert to WPA2 for my private network. Which sucks, but hopefully there’s zero perf overhead these days.
