Trying out chrome on my mac mini again, and it seems a *lot* faster. Did recent versions of it get a major speed bump or something? Various little benchmarks I had like scrolling in Google Reader seem a lot better in the latest 10.something version.

The one thing that always strikes me when I use the mac once in a while is how the UI in general doesn’t over use transparency. It just has a lot more solid feel.
