for now. Although it felt pretty nice, there’s just something to be said for using the same layout that most everone else in the world does. I feel like its still a little too hard to switch between the kinesis and this normal dell keyboard that I’m using.. so I’ll just have to find something else. One thing I really do need now is a wrist pad.
I should also look into the happy hacking keyboard pro model. I forgot to ask my parents to get one of those “real force” keyboards that are only available in Japan (they have the same key switch mechanism as the happy hacking boards, but are less than half the price, and they have more different layouts). Oh well. The HHK might be a good way to save on my desk space anyways. My only major gripe with them is that the arrow keys are kind of hard to use, because they require you to hold the Fn key down.
Or perhaps I will just invest in the microsoft ergo keyboard. I actually had one of the original pro boards that everyone seems to really still like these days, but alas I sold it to a friend. Sigh.
