As an expirement, I purchased the latest episode of the Office from iTMS.
The resolution of the video is a little less than I had hoped for, but if you sit back away from it when you watch, it still looks ok.
It’s an interesting concept. Certainly easy to use, and cheap enough that I don’t mind buy a show here and there. It’s gonna get pretty crazy when things like comedy central shows come online. But then, you start to think.. shows like South Park don’t really need a TV studio to create their content.. so does this mean the end of TV studio’s? Just like how iTunes killed (or is killing) the tradidional record company?
Either way, they’ve made it dangerously convenient.
