Qian and I just signed the lease on a new flat. It’s a bit further into noe valley, about 2 blocks from 24th and Castro. It’s a ground level 1 Bedroom (in a building built in 1884!) with a big kitchen, an extra room that we’ll probably use as some kind of living room, a deck, hardwood, and an old Victorian style ‘fainting room’.
Somehow we lucked out. The manager told us that at the time we went for an open house, 10 viewers were scheduled, but only two showed up. I’m sure that boosted our chances significantly.
We won’t move for another 3 weeks or so, but when we do, it’s gonna be awesome.
